A note to the teachers...
Dear Teachers,

Hello! I am very excited to introduce TECH Teachings to you all! Every session you will be guiding students to engage in a new lesson about cybersecurity. You will teach what cybersecurity is and some of the threats there are on the internet as well as how to overcome those threats. The lessons have students learning about a new topic every session and include a fun activity to help students make sense of what they have learned.

Below you will find three workbooks and three teacher guides. There is one for each level (1,2,3) and can be for grade levels ranging from second to eighth. The student workbooks contain educational information about threats one can run into on the internet. Students will complete the activities in the workbooks independently, in groups, or as a class to learn about the threats, how to identify them, and how to get rid of them. The teacher guides go along with the workbooks and contains a replica of the student workbook filled in with the answers. Before each lessons in the teacher guide, there is a lesson plan to go along with the activities that outlines what and how the students will go about the work.

There are a total of 10 lessons for each grade and they are expected to take 15 to 30 minutes to complete. Some might require more time if not completed in an orderly fashion. In order to check if students understand the material presented in each lesson, they will be required to complete the exit ticket on the bottom of the page after each workshop. It must be completed in order to participate in the next lesson so they are able to understand future material. After all lessons in the program have been completed, you may distribute certificates to all students!

In order to use these lessons and teacher guides, you may download them as a PDF and annotate them online or print them out.

You will also find a video below which you can watch to learn more about how to operate the program. I hope you find this program interesting and exciting!

Sincerely,
